This winter StyleCart is based on creating a classic yet comfortable space that incorporates a mix of both clean lines along with collected antiques. In the cold winter months I am drawn to chunky knit textures and warm neutral palettes while cozying up by the fire. Frequently, clients have inherited pieces they don't want to part with that have both sentimental and monetary value. Yet, they don’t want those pieces to dictate the style of their home. By balancing these pieces properly you can have an eclectic mix of new and old creating a livable transitional space.

While attending the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID), Alexis apprenticed under the award winning designer Lynn K. Jacobson. While working with Lynn, she learned the Interior Design business, and that in order to be a successful designer she needed to live and breathe that same creativity in her own day-to-day life. Alexis has over 10 years of experience in the industry and brings both timeless style and technical skills to her projects.

Alexis enjoys collaborating with her clients to find their own creative voice and translates that into their home. In getting to know her clients, she is able to clarify their needs to create a lifestyle that is balanced, functional and beautiful. Alexis strives to create uniquely tailored spaces for each client that gives them both comfort and inspiration.
